Shawn Rumley and Jasin Harms met in the first grade and have remained friends throughout their lives. Together, they attended the Second City School of Improv in Chicago, Illinois.

Shawn stayed in Illinois, started a family, and is now a single father. He has worked at the same company since its founding to provide for his family.

​

Jasin, on the other hand, felt the right path was to pursue a career in another state and chose New Jersey. Despite the distance, the two have remained in close communication and eventually began writing together.
